Are you riding a wave of high vibration where things effortlessly work for you?
know what it feels like to be in peak Flow. When the best parking spot opens up on a rainy day, or that lamp I talked about buying just yesterday turns up on the side of the road, in perfect working order, waiting for me to claim it!
The same goes for the big life-altering moments, like missing out on a business opportunity but trusting that something better will show up — and it does!
I’m also painfully aware that when I’m on a Debbie-downer day, in a negative headspace, all the crappy stuff in my life keeps heaping on me! As if one awful thought calls in another, then another, and I might as well climb back into bed!
Life has taught me to constantly modulate my thoughts and emotions to stay in a high vibrational peak state of Flow.
But I’m jumping ahead of myself! Let’s go back a step or two.
Does control of our life sit outside of us?
What happens when life sucks? When life kicks us in the guts? Do we honestly have choices in those moments?
I believe we can lie down and let life completely obliterate us. Or we can choose not just to survive our trauma but allow it to transform us into a more enlightened, shinier version of ourselves.
I thought I was happily married to a man I adored, only to discover just after our 30th wedding anniversary, my husband had a secret life with another woman.
He left me. Within months he asked whether he could come back. He lived with me for seven more years, lying about giving up the other woman.
It took a GPS tracking App and some psychotherapy to get there, but eventually, I took back my self-respect and agency and walked away from my marriage.
I was inconsolable!
When we hit the reset button on our marriage, my husband talked me into selling our family home on the promise we would buy another close to the coast. We never did because he never intended to. So I was forced to find a rental and live off my savings and superannuation.
Every time my career started to take off, my husband would find a way to destabilise my home life. I found it hard to hold on to promising contracts, stalling my career. I fell into a deep depression.
Yep, some not-so-great decisions came back to bite me on the backside!
On the days I could not get out of bed, I’d send up a prayer that my life would get better.
There was little else I could do at that point in my life besides surrender — and dream of better days.
And better days came.
Not all at once. But the tools — and people — I needed to reconstruct my life began to show up.
Curating what goes into our subconscious
I’d listened to Abraham-Hicks podcasts for about a decade. I even managed to fly to Sydney to attend a 1-day Abraham workshop. But the truth hidden in the Abraham material did not reveal itself until I hit rock bottom.
Then the floodgates swung wide open.
I fed myself a daily diet of uplifting podcasts and audiobooks that elevated my mind with particular emphasis on self-love and self-care.
I curated what I allowed to filter into my subconscious and the calibre of people I let into my life.
I stopped watching commercial TV with their subliminal advertising and oppressive reporting on current local and world events.
I immersed myself in books that I felt ‘called’ to read.
Dr Bruce Lipton’s book, ‘Biology of Belief’ helped me explore how we can hack our subconscious to reprogram our debilitating and limiting beliefs and behaviours.
Armed with the knowledge that felt right for me and a decision made to hack my subconscious mind, I booked in for regular sessions with an accredited Hypnotherapist and Counsellor.
I wanted to stop living on autopilot. To that end, hypnotherapy was a game-changer!
So too was signing on with the Proctor Gallagher Institute. Committing to that program wasn’t cheap, but it was money I considered wisely spent. The twelve-month program taught me to consciously shift my paradigms to live an inspired life driven by desire and passion. To go after that which excites and frightens me!
In his book ‘Psycho-Cybernetics’, Maxwell Maltz concluded that we could use our imagination to “dehypnotise” ourselves and improve our self-image.
Sadhguru tells us we are masters of our own lives, either consciously or unconsciously, and to embrace our life-current and go with the flow.
I stumbled across Brian Scott’s book ‘The Reality Revolution’ and his expansive library of premium YouTube content that introduced me to dozens of new-thought authors.
Here are a few listed below:
- James Allen
- Neville Goddard
- Emmet Fox
- Elizabeth Towne
- Florence Scovel Shinn
- Robert B Stone
- Henry Thomas Hamblin
- Dr Joseph Murphy
- Edgar Cayce
- US Anderson
- Dr Frank B Robinson
- Law Of One, Q’uo, Ra
- The Akashic Records
Our world is always a reflection of how we think and feel
I deep-dived into Vadim Zealand’s ‘Reality Transurfing’, which blew apart every notion I had about what IS my ‘reality’. As a student of his work, I’d sit up in bed with a coffee in one hand, pen and paper in the other, and let the concepts in his brilliant book reconfigure my approach to life.
Delores Cannon’s seminal book ‘The Convoluted Universe’ introduced me to concepts that blew my mind and changed the trajectory of my spiritual beliefs.
Richard Grannon’s podcasts were instrumental in helping me understand and heal from decades of emotional abuse in my marriage.
Every day without exception, I listen to hours and hours of downloaded podcasts, audiobooks, or audio study notes.
As I became more consciously ‘enlightened’, a podcast or publication revealed more insights and lessons over time.
Reading isn’t enough, though. Setting goals that step closer to our big dreams is how our world meets us halfway and nudges us forward.
We live in a world where everything is based on frequency
Mobile phones and wireless networks are one example.
Brain wave frequencies talk to our body and affect our learning, healing and ability to manifest. There is a frequency where the heart, brain, and breath are all synced to optimal coherence. Dr Joe Dispensa calls it heart and brain coherence.
This invisible field of energy creates matter.
Our ‘frequency’ sends a message to this invisible quantum energy field, and we get back equal to what we put out. Like attracts like. Bad vibes attract more negative energy from people, places, and things in our lives. The same is true of uplifting, joyous, loving, expectant vibrations.
What we desire sits at a specific frequency. And if we can tune ourselves into that frequency — without any resistance — it will allow us to experience or ‘materialise’ what we desire.
Penny Pierce’s book “Frequency: The Power of Personal Vibration” states that if we can tap into how this stuff works and understand it to a certain level, it can give us an enormous advantage in creating the life we want. It’s an abundance, or some call a success consciousness.
Set an intention to transition out of a negative state into something better
If I climb out of bed in the morning and I’m clearly in a fearful or grumpy state, it’s on me to keep reaching for a better feeling place and build on that throughout my day. I want my day to spiral up, not down.
Observing my state and modulating how I think and feel is the key. It’s about learning to be ‘in’ an experience — and at the same time, get off the stage, sit in the audience and observe how that experience makes me feel and whether I’m driving my behaviour — or someone else is!
The trick is not to get too bogged down by our current reality but to jump into the future to where we imagine our ideal reality plays itself out — in the now.
Live in that place in your imagination as if your prayer is already answered.
When I’m in that state of Flow, I feel grateful in the moment. I clap my hands in joy like a child and say, “more of this, please, Universe!”.
For example, when I mentally signal to the Universe, I’d love to see Bunjil fly over me today, and a majestic wedge-tailed eagle singles me out as I drive down the highway. You know I’m yelping with unrestrained joy, “yes, yes, yes”!
Beaming out to the Divine immense gratitude invites more of the good stuff in!
We’re all trying to decode what it means to be Spirit having a Human Experience
We are looking to find the love that transmutes pain and loss into a deeper connection with our Soulful Self.
This new me feels the spiritual alchemy of her life. I’m no longer sad, bitter, unforgiving, or broken. I like to say, to anyone who asks, I’m unfolding.
I flow with life in the knowledge my world gives me, whatever I consciously and unconsciously call forth by the frequency I put out — and what I allow.
I know that whenever I’m unhappy with where I find myself, the change can only come from inside of ME.
If this information was helpful to you, perhaps you’d consider buying me a cup of coffee.
